Bob Ellingson

Bob Ellingson was elected to the city council in 2004 and re-elected in November 2007. He is employed by the state of Minnesota as a government relations manager for the Minnesota State Board of Public Defense. Bob graduated from Carleton College with a bachelor’s degree in government and international relations. He is also a graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School; in addition, he received a master’s of public administration from Harvard. Bob served in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 1977 to 1986 and was a commissioner on the Hennepin Parks Board from 1987 to 1990. He and his wife, Carol Grams, have three children.
