Linner Park
Linner Park is located in Ward 3, Neighborhood Park Service Area (NPSA) 5 in an appealing neighborhood area that is fairly isolated from the rest of the city. The park has a very quiet and peaceful setting and contains many natural features reminiscent of the general area. The vast majority of the park is wetland and kept natural. Steep, wooded hillsides separate the two developed areas of the park, with a large wetland area lying to the west.
Linner Park independently services the neighborhood park needs in this NPSA. Although the fairly extensive wetlands and other natural areas provide open space, Linner Park will also have to provide the active recreational amenities for this neighborhood area.
