Erosion control
Erosion can deposit sediment in area lakes, creeks and wetlands, and can also result in muddy roadways or deposits of sediment on adjacent properties. The city requires installation of proper erosion control and inspection of those controls before any grading or building permits involving excavation are issued.
Additional erosion control and maintenance is often required during grading and construction activity. Erosion control measures are required to be maintained until full groundcover has been established.
