Medical Emergencies
If you have a medical emergency within the city of Minnetonka, call 9-1-1. The responding police officers have trained as EMTs and maintain a First Responder certification. If the medical emergency requires paramedics or transport to a medical facility, the 9-1-1 dispatcher will alert the Hennepin County Medical Center ambulance service for additional assistance.
Emergency Response Team (ERT)
The Minnetonka Police Department participates in a five-city consortium to provide officers for emergency response services. Officers are highly trained to respond to situations needing high-risk warrant services, hostage, crowd control, hostage negotiation, snipers, and critical incidents.
