Crime Stoppers tips

Submit a Crime Stoppers tip

In 2010, the Minnetonka Police Department teamed up with Crime Stoppers of Minnesota to increase the ways Minnetonka residents can anonymously pass on information to help solve crimes. Through this partnership, the Minnetonka Police Department will receive tips that Crime Stoppers collects through its systems.

If you have knowledge of a crime or a fugitive, you can volunteer tips to Crime Stoppers in the following ways:

  • Call 1.800.222.TIPS [8477]
  • Visit www.crimestoppersmn.org to submit your tip online or click on the button below to be taken to the online form.
  • Text your tip via cell phone to CRIMES [274637]. In the text message body, type TIP674 followed by your message. Then hit send.

Crime Stoppers accepts tips in any language by phone and in English, Spanish and French via the online tip form. The identity of the tipster is kept anonymous from law enforcement and anyone else. If the tip leads to an arrest or charge, the tipster may qualify to receive a reward of up to $1,000 and still remain anonymous.

Crime Stoppers of Minnesota is a non-profit organization separate and independent of government and law enforcement that is governed by a volunteer board of directors who oversee its operations and fundraising efforts.
