Police Reports

To obtain a free copy of a police report for cases referred to the Minnetonka City Attorney’s Office, please email Sara Kronmiller at skronmiller@eminnetonka.com. Please include defendant’s name, date of birth, date of offense, and the Minnetonka Police Department case number or citation number if known.

To receive a paper copy of the police report from the City Attorney’s Office, please remit a check in the amount of $6.00, made out to the City of Minnetonka, to the City Attorney’s Office, 14600 Minnetonka Blvd., Minnetonka, MN 55345.

You may also visit the Legal Department, Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m. to obtain a paper copy for $5.00. Please call in advance to ensure the report is ready.

Cases referred to the City of Minnetonka’s Legal Department for formal complaint are under investigation, and reports will not be available until the complaint has been filed with the Court. If you are unsure if your case is under investigation, please call the Legal Department, at 952.939.8266.

For all other reports, please visit the Minnetonka Police Department Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Public information is $0.25 per page for the first 100 pages. Special request are charged by the hour to cover the cost of personnel.
