ReadyMinnetonka

In 2001, the city of Minnetonka became the first city on Minnesota to be certified as StormReady by the National Weather Service. The completion of this year-long process by the city’s Fire and Emergency Management department ensured every possible step had been taken to inform residents in the event of severe weather or other significant emergencies.
Now, the city is asking businesses and community members to do the same—to get ready now, should severe weather or an emergency affect the city. The ReadyMinnetonka program was designed to help in this effort, by sharing information and ideas with residents on how best to prepare for an emergency.
What you can do
Good, better, or best?
