Homebuyer education

Community Action Partnership for Suburban Hennepin (CAPSH) offers home buyer education through a series of four classes which focus on the home-buying process. Subjects covered in the classes include:

  • A woman smiles at her desk as an instructor explains how she can own a home.
  • The mortgage process
  • The purchase process
  • The closing process
  • Problems (such as plumbing, heating, electrical, etc.) that may occur and how to identify them
