Oral History Project

The city of Minnetonka has an ongoing oral history project that documents the memories of people who have lived and worked in Minnetonka. The goal of the oral history project is to gain a better understanding of the community’s history and heritage and the changes that have occurred over the years.

The people interviewed share a wide range of memories—one interview may include memories of subjects as diverse as European ancestors, early settlement, the world wars, and changes in the city.
