Utilities

Minnetonka is served by a number of utility companies, and provides its own sewer and water service to residents.

Cable Television

Cable television service in Minnetonka is provided by Comcast. For the most part, rate changes by cable providers are regulated by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), so cities have no control over cable rates. The city of Minnetonka is a member of the Southwest Suburban Cable Commission, and the attorney for that commission reviews rate changes to ensure they meet the requirements of the law.
